Driving

On the Road to Paradise

The highway network into Kimberley connects to…well…everywhere! If you are coming from Alberta you have a couple options in to our area. Both options take you through the famous and majestic Canadian Rocky Mountains either via Hwy 3/Crowsnest Pass or via Banff & Kootenay National Park along Hwy 1 and Hwy 95. The first option will take you through communities such as Fernie and Cranbrook, BC. The second option takes you to Kimberley through Radium and Fairmont, BC.

If you’re coming from the west, such as Vancouver or BC’s Okanagan, you can take Hwy 3, the scenic route, or the Trans-Canada Hwy 1. Hwy 3 will take you through communities such as Grand Forks, Castlegar and Nelson, BC, while Hwy 1 will take you through Revelstoke and Golden, BC.

If you’re coming from the United States, Kimberley is only an hour from the USA border following Hwy 95 past Cranbrook, BC into Kimberley.
