Dog Sled Races

The inaugural edition of the Bootleg Sled Dog Races will be held in the beautiful Kootenay Rockies of southeastern British Columbia about half way between Cranbrook and Kimberley. This area of British Columbia is known for its magnificent scenery, great skiing and huge accumulations of snow. The host venue for the races is the Bootleg Gap Golf Course nestled along the St. Mary River in the shadow of Bootleg Mountain, the namesake of these races.
