2022-2026 Five Year Financial Plan

The City of Kimberley has a strong history of sound financial management. Each year, the Finance team works with Council and City staff to develop a Five-Year Financial Plan - required to be completed by May 15th each year. The plan provides information on operating and capital budgets, project timing, funding sources, and property tax impacts. 

Throughout this process, the public is invited to provide comment on the plan. Here, we outline important meeting dates, ways the public can provide input, and links to all supporting documents and presentations. Information will be updated regularly with most recent presentations and links to meetings.

October 4th, 2021

At this meeting, City CFO Jim Hendricks presented information and requested direction from Council in relation to the City's primary revenue sources as the initial step in the preparation of the 2022-2026 Five Year Financial Plan. View this meeting on Youtube. View the presentation online. 

November 1, 2021 Special Meeting

December 6, 2021 Special Meeting

CFO Hendricks provided Council with further information related to the 2022 - 2026 Financial Plan and requested Council direction with regard to proposed changes to the base operating budget to allow staff to proceed towards preparation of the 2022-2026 Five Year Financial Plan Bylaw.
