Enhanced Accessibility is a toggle that allows visitors not already using assistive technologies to quickly toggle on a larger font size and increased colour contrast.

The following features are always enabled and available for site visitors using assistive technologies:

  • Accessible navigation with proper description of all elements for screen readers
  • Optimized for keyboard navigation which is widely used by visitors with accessibility challenges
  • Links and buttons and other interactive elements have accessible names that describe their purpose
  • High colour contrast for text and backgrounds to ensure readability
  • Text size is legible and can be scaled larger to match the visitor's browser preferences
  • Touch-optimized to all elements are easily tappable
