Kimberley residents are invited to participate in an Open House for the Kimberley Parks and Facilities Master Plan on September 12, 2023. Drop by Centennial Hall, 100 4th Ave, anytime between 3:00 - 5:00 pm or 7:00 - 9:00 pm. This is a unique opportunity for residents to have their voices heard and play a crucial role in shaping the future of parks and facilities in our city.
The Kimberley Parks and Facilities Master Plan is a comprehensive initiative aimed at enhancing our community's recreational spaces, parks, and public facilities. The master plan's development has been a collaborative effort involving input from residents, stakeholders, and experts to ensure that it aligns with the needs and aspirations of Kimberley's diverse population.
During the Open House, attendees will have the chance to:
- Explore the Vision: Get an in-depth look at master plan development process and its objectives.
- Share Your Feedback: Your input is invaluable! Share your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions on the master plan with our team.
- Enter to WIN! As a token of our appreciation for your participation, you can enter a draw to win a Kimberley prize pack including a $100 gift certificate to a Kimberley business of your choice.
This event is open to all Kimberley citizens regardless of age or background. Families, students, seniors, and anyone interested in the future development of our parks and facilities are encouraged to attend.

A renovation of the main Platzl parking lot is planned to begin on Monday, September 11th and will last approximately 4 weeks.
