The Kimberley Farmers' Market is full of new energy this season and in need of LOTS of help every Thursday starting on June 18. Please check your schedules and sign up for the below-listed volunteer tasks for JUNE HERE and JULY HERE! More descriptions are available in the links, and all training is provided on-site by Sparta - please reach out if you have any questions, and thanks in advance.

• Market Set Up (2:30-3:30pm, & 3:30-4:30pm)
• Market Take Down (6:45 - 7:30pm)
• Wildsight Ambassador (4:30-7:30pm)
• Kids Activities Assistant (4:30-7:30pm)

Better at Home programs support low or modest-income seniors with simple, day-to-day tasks that allow them to live independently and remain connected to their communities. Here's a list of volunteer opportunities in Kimberley:

Are you passionate about nature, conservation, and the future of Kimberley’s outdoor spaces? The Kimberley Nature Park Society is seeking engaged community members to join our Board of Directors and help guide the stewardship of the largest municipal park in British Columbia.

As a board member, you’ll help shape strategic direction, support conservation and education initiatives, and contribute to the long-term protection of wildlife habitat and trails. Prior board experience is not required—just a willingness to contribute your skills, perspective, and enthusiasm. We meet monthly, with flexible participation options.

Have some time but don’t want to join the board? Volunteering for specific initiatives is another great option. We have many different projects that can use an extra set of hands.
