BC Wildfire Service has now listed the Bootleg fire as under control. Thanks to crews for their swift efforts to contain this fire.

City Hall will be closed on Canada Day, Thursday, July 1st, 2021 for the statutory holiday. Please remember that property taxes are due on Friday, July 2nd.

The City of Kimberley will be opening the Civic Centre as a cooling space for those needing refuge from the extreme heat.

 As of 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday June 30, 2021 the City of Kimberley has banned any open burning within City limits due to extreme heat and dry conditions.
