The City releases public notices related to amendments, certain development applications, and public hearings. This page changes often so please check back regularly. 

 

The City of Kimberley will hold an electronic Public Hearing on Monday, December 8, 2025 at 7:00 pm to consider: 

  • Bylaw No. 2793, Amendment No. 8, 2025 to City of Kimberley Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 2600, 2018
  • Bylaw No. 2794, Amendment No. 41, 2025 to City of Kimberley Alpine Resort Zoning Bylaw No. 2016, 1999
  • Bylaw No. 2795, Amendment No. 182, 2025 to City of Kimberley Zoning Bylaw No. 1850, 1994

Notice of Public Hearing - December 8, 2025

You may participate in a public hearing by:

  1. Submitting comments in writing to City Hall (drop-off in the mail slot, email planning@kimberley.ca or fax 250-427-5252) by 2:00 pm on the day of the public hearing, or 

  2. Sharing your comments via telephone during the hearing by calling 1-437-880-3267. Please call by 6:50pm to register into meeting number (access code) 2770 281 8764 then enter the “#” symbol when asked for attendee number. You will be able to hear the meeting but you will be on hold and muted until it is your turn to speak.

All submissions will form part of the public record. Council cannot receive further information or submissions after the conclusion of the public hearing.
