Recreation & Parks
Kimberley is an active community – and proud of it! Having great recreation facilities is important to our health and quality of life, so that we can keep moving and playing all year long.
The City of Kimberley maintains many parks, sports fields, and athletic facilities, including:
- Kimberley Aquatic Centre
- Civic Centre Arena and Marysville Arena
- Skate Park and Mountain Bike Skills Park
- Ballfields, tennis courts, lawn bowling, and more
Rotary Park, located on Rotary Drive at MacKenzie Street, features a children’s playground, public tennis courts, and a baseball field. There is also a playground at Lois Creek Park, located at the intersection of Moyie Street and 5th Avenue.
Kimberley features an amazing network of trails – there’s always more to explore on foot or on two wheels! And if you’re bringing your dog, you’ll find off-leash areas at the Lois Creek Trails, Kimberley Nature Park, and along the St. Mary’s River between the Marysville Falls and Bootleg Gap Golf Course.
