With spring in the air, you may notice some stronger smells from Kimberley’s Wastewater Treatment Plant. While not pleasant, this is normal and happens each year during seasonal biosolids work.

Kimberley City Council has given first three readings to the proposed 2026 Tax Rates Bylaw, which includes a 3.23% municipal property tax increase.

The City of Kimberley hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, to mark the official start of construction on the community’s Wastewater Treatment Plant.
