Thank you to the BC Wildfire Service for their hard work gaining control of the 2.9-hectare fire at Stirton Road. The fire is now listed as ‘Under Control’ thanks to their quick action.

BC Wildfire Service firefighters have extinguished a small fire in the Mark Creek area. The lightning-caused fire began on August 2nd and did not grow larger than 0.5-hectares.

Provincial Fire Fighters are working to extinguish a small 0.5-hectare fire west of the City of Kimberley. The fire, which began on Sunday, August 2, is believed to have been caused by lightning.
