Outside City Hall Treat Accessibility Sign

Treat Accessibly

Posted:

This Halloween, City Hall is proud to be part of a growing movement to make trick-or-treating accessible for all kids. Inspired by one family's simple act of kindness—moving their treats to the driveway so their child with accessibility needs could join the fun—we're making sure no child is left out of the Halloween magic.

What to expect:
✅ Automatic door openers ensure that those with mobility challenges can enter the building without assistance
✅ Sensory-friendly experience
✅ Welcoming staff ready to make every child feel included

We encourage our business community to follow suit! Whether it's placing treats outside your entrance, offering non-food goodies, or simply being mindful of different needs - every small gesture counts.

Let’s make this Halloween a celebration of inclusion, joy, and community spirit.
