Water Conservation and Upcoming Water Restrictions

Posted:

Kimberley’s drinking water comes from two pristine mountain sources—Mark Creek and Matthew Creek. These watersheds provide us with clean, high-quality water that we’re proud of—but they are not unlimited.

As our community grows and summers get hotter, water demand increases. That’s why it’s more important than ever to understand where our water comes from, how it’s managed, and what we can all do to protect it.

Stage 2 Water Restrictions Begin June 1, 2025

Please refer to the watering schedule below and keep it handy for your outdoor watering times. These restrictions are part of our commitment to ensuring a sustainable water supply—today and for generations to come.

How You Can Help

Together, we can make a difference:

  •  Reduce outdoor water use
  • Avoid watering during the heat of the day
  • Fix leaks and install water-efficient fixtures
  • Respect the watershed—recreate responsibly

Let’s work together to keep Kimberley’s water flowing strong.
